We started Boat Service Licata to provide a global answer to most issues our client encounter. We like to think of ourselves as a one-stop-shop where you can enjoy Sicily while we take care of your boat.
GRP, fiber & gelcoat
This has been our initial specialty, before we added carpentry and mechanical services.
Gelcoat is here to protect your boat, but sometime, it’s the gelcoat itself which needs some protection. You learn it as a science (air temp, hydrometry, product mix etc), but with practice it comes as much as art (50 shades of white as I like to call it :-).
Repair & refit
Licata has a longstanding tradition of boat building, with a diversified and strong craftsmanship.
Renovation projects go side-by-side with Rolex Middle Sea Race preparation. A 300 tons travel lift allows for large project to be developed in Licata, even for Catamaran with beam up to 9 m.
